Digital Sales: ContentdB

The Role
This is an individual contributor role, reporting into the Regional Head. Accordingly, the purpose and key expectations would be as follows:

To ensure identification, acquisition and development of clients for ContentdB business from the allocated market.

The key expectations of the role:

  • Revenue achievement is a given
  • New Client acquisition translating to consistent achievement of revenue targets
  • Ensuring growth/expansion of existing accounts
  • Utilising ‘learnings’ pertaining to the biddable media market and industry trends to consistently improve sales conversions and account growth
  • Being compliant with organizational processes as well as partner requirements

Competencies required: Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude:



  • Knowledge and Understanding of Digital Display and Content advertising Desirable
  • Understanding of Native advertising and sales
  • Understanding of Performance based Advertising
  • Understanding of platform sales
  • Understanding of performance marketing


  • Consultative selling technique. At a basic level, asking the right questions to determine what the client needs before pitching a   solution
  •  Analytical skills
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to handle objections.
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal


  •  Go getter
  •  Results driven and having a strong bias for action
  •  Hunger to excel
  •  Resilient and able to deal with pressure
  • Should demonstrate interpersonal skills when dealing with superiors, peers and clients

The Individual: (Education and Experience)


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • 3 – 8 years of experience in media sales, with minimum 3 years in digital media Sales.
  • Experience in selling Digital Advertising is a must.


  • Understanding of performance marketing
